01 / Why Lutron shading

not a separate switch.
Blinds and curtains change a room as much as the lighting does. When both are controlled by the same Lutron system, a single keypad button can close the curtains, lower the blinds and set the lights for the evening.
Shading can also follow the day: opening in the morning, closing at sunset, or protecting furniture and artwork from strong sunlight.

The best shading installations are planned early: pockets and recesses in the ceiling, power at the head of each window, and fabric choices agreed with the interior designer or curtain maker.
We coordinate those details with the architect and contractor, then programme the shading so it moves smoothly and stops exactly where it should.
