With any lighting design scheme we always recommend a lighting control system to bring the most out of the design. Lighting control systems allow you to regulate the lighting levels of groups of lights at a time. For example, if you want to dim the dining room downlights but maintain a higher light level for the pendant, a lighting control system will let you do that.
Further to that, lighting control systems can help you save energy, increase home security and provide another level of convenience to your daily routine.
Lutron
We work with many different brands in lighting and lighting control but leading the pack in functionality, convenience and reliability has to be Lutron. Lutron systems feature intelligent lighting and shading control and are packaged with attractive wall plates and an easy to use app.
At Porter Systems, we have been installing and programming Lutron Homeworks Systems since the Homeworks Illumination Series. Since then there have been two new iterations of Homeworks, Lutron Homeworks QS and Lutron Homeworks QSX.
On top of the Homeworks Series, we are also experts in all other Lutron systems such as Ra2 Select and with the advent of the latest products, it might not cost as much as you think to have a fully designed and installed professional lighting system in your home or office.
